M4 Sciences Appoints VP Sales and MarketingM4 Sciences LLC, a manufacturing technology company providing patented drilling systems, has announced Philip Fassnacht as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Most recently Fassnacht served as the Marketing Director of Hurco Companies, Inc. wher he launched a worldwide rebranding, and in an earlier role as Sales Director in which he led the North American division to record sales in back-to-back years.

“Phil’s appointment is an important step forward for the future of M4 Sciences” said James Mann, Chief Executive Officer.

“He will play a vital role in the continued growth and global expansion of our company; he has proven himself as a leader that can bring new ideas, focus and relationships to further help M4 Sciences achieve its goals.”

Fassnacht’s professional background is broad based encompassing sales and marketing, general management, and product design. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business.

M4 SCIENCES LLC, is a privately held company (est. 2005) located at Purdue Research Park in Northwest Indiana. They design, manufacture, and sell a range of devices based on their patented modulation assisted machining (MAM) technology. The TriboMAM system provides CNC machining operations with up to five times faster drilling while doubling tool life through its ability to control chip formation, improve cutting fluid effectiveness, remove peck cycles, and increase process stability and feed rates.

It can be used in a wide range of metals and alloys such as aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium. M4 Sciences was selected as one of the 100 most technologically significant products introduced in 2010 by R&D Magazine.
