YMT TTL-20 high-speed 6-inch and 8-inch CNC turning centre features a 30° true slant bed with one-piece casting design and heavy duty roller guide ways.

The 30° slant bed design provides higher machine stability and more efficient chip disposal because of the lower centre of gravity.  The roller guide ways design complimented with high 20 horsepower spindle motor offers 20 per cent higher cutting capacity and chip removal rate than machines with linear ball guide ways.

A high-speed 10 station servo-driven turret is standard with a fast indexing time of 0.2 seconds.  The turret is capable of handling 1-inch tool holder and 1.5-inch boring bar holder.  The turret is supported by reinforced saddle to handle the heaviest cutting conditions.

The TTL-series also offers optional 12 station live tools for customers that need to perform milling, drilling, tapping and turning operations.

The machine is constructed with one-piece heavily ribbed Meehanite casting and heavy headstock to withstand long hours of rigorous high production cutting.  The  axial motors are direct coupled and all precision hardened and ground ballscrews are pre-tensioned to achieve low thermal deformation that translate to higher accuracy turning.

It also comes with a heavy duty hydraulic tailstock with 2.75-inch programmable quill diameter.  The standard tailstock comes with “easy position” feature that attach the tailstock to turret and eliminates the extra work of positioning tailstock in place by hand.

The TTL-series is highly compact, helping save valuable floor space, and comes standard with chip conveyor for efficient chip removal.
