Thomas Skinner & Son has been named the exclusive Tsugami distributor in Western Canada.

Tsugami/Rem Sales, the exclusive North American importer of Precision Tsugami machine tools, announced the addition of two new Tsugami distributors, effectively immediately. While Thomas Skinner & Sons will be responsible for distribution in Western Canada, Network Machinery will be the exclusive distributor in Michigan.

“We’re pleased to welcome Network Machinery and Thomas Skinner as new Tsugami distributors and we’re confident these changes will enable us to enhance support to our growing customer base,” Rem Sales Vice President Michael Mugno said.

Thomas Skinner & Son Ltd. of Richmond, B.C., distributes hundreds of machine tools and manufacturing accessories from myriad builders, including Haas Automation, Okuma, Hydmech and Amada. With locations in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Winnipeg customers have access to local support for their machine and tooling needs. The company celebrated its 110th anniversary at its Vancouver location in December.
