TORONTO — Lincoln Electric Canada has announced that its longtime president and CEO has retired. On December 31, 2014, Mr. Joseph G. Doria elected to retire.

As of January 1, 2015, Mr. Mike Whitehead assumed the role of President of Lincoln Electric Canada.
Mr. Doria has served as a Corporate Vice President and Officer of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., and has held the position of President and CEO of Lincoln Electric Canada and Indalco since 2002. He joined Lincoln Electric 42 years ago as a technical sales representative and held various positions throughout his tenure in North America and Europe, including Assistant to the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Company, and President of Lincoln Electric Europe, before being promoted to President of Lincoln Electric Canada in 1991.
Mike Whitehead joined Lincoln Electric in 2005 as Chief Counsel, Intellectual Property and has served as Director, New Product Development in Consumables R&D since 2011. earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor degree from New Hampshire University School of Law. Mike also completed the Advanced Executive Program at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Mike joins Lincoln Electric Canada as a well-respected leader within the organization.
