The Water Division of Ottawa-based BluMetric Environmental Inc., a cleantech company, has announced that it has been awarded two new contracts, totally approximately C$2 million collectively.
This announcement comes after BluMetrics Professional Services division was also awarded two new contracts worth approximately $2.5 million.
The first contract was won by BluMetric due to its advanced system, which meets the extremely stringent discharge criteria set out by the ontario Ministry of the Environment. BlueMetric will supply a high-quality on-site wastewater treatment system for a new housing development near the GTA. The installation will use the companys ROTORDISK® Rotating Biological Contactors (RBC) with denitrification and phosphorus removal capability.
The second contract will have BluMetric supplying highly specialized wastewater treatment equipment for a major multinational in Carrollton, Kentucky. This plant requires a unique blend of materials and specialty coatings to withstand the service burden of a challenging industrial waste stream. BluMetric was awarded the contract after an extensive comparative evaluation process carried out by the client.
