Chrysler Canada says January sales up four per cent from year ago

TORonTO — Chrysler Canada says its sales for January were up four per cent from a year a ago.

The automaker says it sold 17,698 vehicles in Canada last month, up from 17,013 in January 2013.

The total included 2,675 cars, up from 2,566 a year ago.

Chrysler Canadas truck sales totalled 15,023 for the month, up from 14,447.

It was the 50th consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth for Chryslers Canadian subsidiary, the longest streak in its history.
