HAMILTON, Ont. — Salvagnini America has announced they will be expanding their physical presence in Canada by building a new facility in Hamilton, Ontario.

Currently, the company operates out of a temporary facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

The company, which makes equipment for sheet metal fabrication, expects the new headquarters to be ready by May 1, 2014.

The new facility will also be staffed by a regional sales manager, an office manager and three field service engineers.

It will include a full service office, a spare parts warehouse, and a showroom, and will carry the full line of spare parts for all Salvagnini machines sold in Canada. This will also improve the companys ability to ship spare parts to Canadian customers.

The service technicians will be based in both Toronto and Montreal, giving them a broader reach for service calls.
