The Makino Technology Expo continued today at the firms Auburn Hills, Michigan technical centre.
A full schedule of seminars cover issues from fixturing, large five-axis machining, EDM hole machining and an economic forecast from guest speaker Ken Mayland.
The Makino N2 series small part machining centres and MPmax productivity software were featured, along with the large D800Z five-axis centre and the FCS fixturing system.
The two-day event is focused on productivity, and covers a wide range of issues from rust prevention in EDM work to high-speed rib machining.
Live demonstrations on the display floor are ongoing throughout the event.
