FLORENCE, Ky. – The Mazak Corporation has recently announced that Kennametal Inc. is the newest member of their Value Inspired Partner (VIP) program. The VIP program was created to provide manufacturers with all-encompassing solutions, and promote better cooperation among companies offering complementary technologies for their machine tools.
Under the program Kennametal will collaborate with Mazak on R&D and integration efforts and creating turnkey processes for the manufacturing industry.
The companies are also working together to create training programs and seminars for presentation at technology events across the country. Kennametal will also participate at DISCOVER 2013, a technology and education event taking place October, 8 16 at Mazaks headquarters in Florence, Kentucky.
