OTTAWA Statistics Canadas industrial product price index nudged up 0.3 per cent in June, the first time since February that it has risen.

The Ottawa-based government agency says higher prices for motor vehicles and other transportation equipment were mainly responsible for the increase to the industrial product price index.

Petroleum and coal products also contributed to the gain.
