Hass Factory Outlet, A Division of Thomas Skinner & Son Ltd., hosted another successful educational seminar. The seminar, hosted at all four branch locations throughout the year, was attended by over 160 industry professionals. The most recent seminar held at the Vancouver branch on December 4, 2014 was attended by 86 participants which included a number of students from BCIT’s (British Columbia Institute of Technology) Machining programs.
The format of the seminar included an interactive presentation with live demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and flexibility available with Haas 5-axis machining and covered topics including:

In 2014, HFO Thomas Skinner hosted 11 seminars attended by over 330 customers. The seminars ranged in topic from 5-axis Machining to GD&T in Measurement. “We have a full seminar schedule planned for 2015, and look forward to working in partnership with our suppliers to bring customers seminar topics that are relevant to their everyday work environments” states Don Babineau, VP Operations HFO Thomas Skinner.
