On December 4, 2014, Thomas Skinner is opening its doors to celebrate 110 years in the business.

If you are in the Vancouver area, you should stop by the Thomas Skinner location and join in the celebration. The event offers videos including a special release by Edge Factor, speeches from industry leaders & birthday cake.

The celebration starts at 1:00pm! However, there are great things to see beforehand.  An educational seminar has been added to introduce the Haas UMC-750. This seminar offers a presentation and live demonstrations. Attendees can explore workholding and unique tooling requirements for 5-axis machines, learn how Tool Center Point Control and Dynamic Work Offsets make 5-axis programming easier, use Integrated Probing System to simplify both tool offsets and work setup, and see live cutting demos with both aluminum and steel.
Refreshments will be served before the educational seminar.

The celebration event will also include live cutting demos on both Haas and Okuma CNC Machine Tools and the HydMech H230A Band Saw will be in action. There will be over 20+ suppliers in attendance.

Thomas Skinner will be serving a delicious BBQ between 11:30am 1:00pm & 3:00pm 4:30pm.
