The CanWeld Conference was a success last year, and you should expect great things to be great for this years event. The CanWeld Conference is looking for speaker abstracts for those who want to present during the 2015 CanWeld Conference, to be held in St. John’s, NL on September 13-15, 2015. CanWeld is an event for the wider welding industry and they encourage involvement from all within it.
The 2015 CanWeld Conference themes are focused on the practical side of the welding and metal fabrication industry. This includes a wide range of possible topics including the application of welding skills and technology to solve common (or interesting) fabrication and repair problems; ways of improving efficiency and quality; and the adoption of new ideas and technology with respect to managing staff, the shop floor and business in general.

Practical advances in welding technology and or techniquesPractical/ interesting application of welding technology and/ortechniquesBest practices around welding supply chain management (materials,
consumables, testing, etc.)Welding site/ shop logistics: Estimating, staging jobs, scheduling,
