ERI America and Volumec have agreed to an exclusive distribution agreement for North America.

The company, which is based out of Illinois, will handle sales and service of Volumec’s drilling and tapping line – including their VT/VTS articulated tapping system. Volumec is based out of Treviso, Italy.

The VT/VTS articulated tapping system is used for tapping fine holes in M3 – M26 steel. It features a high torque pneumatic spindle mounted on a balanced, articulated arm with a reach of 75 inches and a multi-directional magnetic positioning head.

The system is suitable for bench-mounted workstations, but also portable for other shop applications.

ERI America also distributes tool holding lines such as Swiss Bore modular tooling, Swiss Flex turning tools, Showa Micron Chucks, Algra Lathe Tooling, and Big Plus toolholders.
