Sandvik Coromant recently launched two new solid carbide reamers from their CoroReamer family. The reamers are useful for situations when high surface quality finish and close tolerances are required.

Both reamers come with dedicated geometries and internal coolant. The CoroReamer 435 is a versatile, and suitable for a wide range of different materials. The CoroReamer 835 is best suited for steel and stainless materials.

The reamers are available in spiral flute design for through holes and straight flute design for blind holes. The diameter range is 3.97-20 mm (0.156-0.787 inch) as standard with an achievable hole tolerance of IT7. These complement CoroReamer 830 used in larger diameter applications.
