At FABTECH 2012 SigmaTek Software has launched Version 10 of the firms cutting nesting program SigmaNEST. The new version features 1300 changes and offers 200 new features, including enhanced security and connectivity with external CRM systems.

The software is able to improve yields by up to five per cent, which the company suggests could lead to a cost savings of $50,000 annually. Reports will all be done electronically as well, which fits with the companys commitment to green initiatives.

The upgrade will launch in Q1 2013 and will be available both to existing subscribers and as a stand alone product for new users.
