Sandvik Coromant’s new QS holding system for sliding head machines can be combined with high precision coolant.

Small part machining of demanding, long chipping materials has traditionally created significant issues in the area of chip breaking. With as little as 145 psi (10 bar) of coolant pressure, the new version of the QS system uses sighted nozzles to provide highly accurate coolant delivery, significantly improving chip breaking and performance.

The new system can be installed easily in existing machines to improve component quality and provide problem-free small part machining.
