Toshiba Machine Machinery Co. will be demonstrating the TUE Series CNC vertical boring and turning mill with FANUC Series Oi-TC CNC system. It offers a live spindle that performs drilling, tapping and boring operations. Manufactured with a one-body crossrail, a wall type column design that extends to the centre of the table, allows for great rigidity as the cutting force is absorbed by the ram and transferred efficiently and accurately, says the company. The table is supported by two bearings to assure stable, high-speed powerful cutting when machining a large diameter workpiece. Toshiba will be at booth # 16001.
