For the production of top quality internal and external threads, Emuge’s new program provides taps up to 114 mm (4 ½ in.), roll form taps up to 51 mm (2 in.) and thread mills up to 102 mm (4 in.). These tools are designed for all thread sizes – with a special focus on large and deep threading – and every material used in the manufacture of wind turbines. The company will also be showcasing its tapered end mills that are designed for the machining of specific components in several key manufacturing segments including automotive, aerospace, energy and HVAC. The end mills are tapered in shape, with a ball nose capable of completely machining impellers, blisks, turbine blades and tire profiles without a single tool change during thes axis and five axis operations, says the company.
