Qualitest introduces a new addition to its hardness tester family.

The QV-400 series of Vickers testers feature an advanced line of Vickers hardness testers that are low-cost and precise testing systems suitable for hardness analysis of metallic specimens in metallography laboratories or production environments.

The testers feature a modular design and will accommodate most macro Vickers testing needs. The QV-400 product line features testers from the most basic analog tester suitable for smaller laboratory work or educational purposes to fully automatic systems for advanced an efficient quality control testing. Software control, automatic image analysis and motorized x-y-z-stages are a few of the modular options available for the QV-400-line.

The new testers have a range that covers HV1 to HV50, the tester is controlled using either the large LCD display or through a PC with the optional software package. The load control is fully automatic and the dwell time can be set freely by the operator. The test results can be converted into Rockwell or Brinell values and printed using the built in mini printer.
