German CAD/CAM software developer, Schott Systeme celebrates an anniversary: At Euromold 2014 in Frankfurt, the Munich company will be looking back over 30 years since the launch of their Pictures by PC CAD/CAM and IT software.

According to the company, it s one of only a few CAD/CAM companies who has maintained uninterrupted development of their software across 30 years, and across numerous operating systems, while still remaining financially independent. Pioneering innovations were for instance open graphical programming, while recent years saw an increased role for CAM, especially 5-axis machining.
