The Canadian Assocaition of Railway Suppliers (CARS) is hosting a one-day conference to commemorate National Railway Day. The event is being held on Tuesday, November 4th in Ottawa at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. The keynote speaker will be the Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women.
This important event will bring suppliers, railways and government together to celebrate the growing rail industry. CARS is a member driven association of companies that supply products and services to railways and transits locally and globally. The membership includes a wide variety of large, medium and small businesses and has been around since 1991.
This event, along with the association itself, helps to maximize business opportunities by exploring industry initiatives, at the government level both in foreign an domestic markets. CARS also plays a vital role in helping to influence decisions that are made in Ottawa and in the provinces that affect the rail industry.
