Lincoln Electric has announced that their VRTEX Mobile achieved CSA certification for USA and Canada in early 2013. The unit is the smaller, portable addition to the line of VRTEX virtual reality arc welding training products.

The CSA (Canadian Standards Association) Group is an independent, not-for-profit membership association dedicated to safety, social good and sustainability, serving a variety of industries internationally.

To become CSA certified, products undergo an examination process, which includes testing and follow-up, to ensure that they comply with national and international standards for safety and performance.
