Rofin’s new EasyMark is a compact laser marking system with a modular design that can be operated as laser class 1 and IV system by removing the side panels. It has the latest diode-pumped or fibre laser technology and software making it capable of a wide variety of applications.

The supply control unit and the working chamber have been designed as separate modules, which provides maximum flexibility for system setups for different individual applications.

The system can handle standard, manual applications and also semi or fully automated production lines. It can also mark metals or polymers, and flat or cylindrical parts and can be applied for both mobile and stationary use.

With removable side panels, the EasyMark can handle long and bulky workpieces and integrate easily with a conveyors or other automatic part-feeding machinery.

The working chamber also has a camera and inspection window. The camera and pilot laser allow for exact part positioning within the 120mm-sq. marking area. The EasyMark also comes with a programmable z-axis that can be equipped with a rotary axis.

PowerLine F fibre lasers with 20, 30 or 50 W – or with the diode end-pumped PowerLine E10 power the system. The laser sources are air-cooled and designed for continuous industrial operation on a standard single-phase power supply.

The standard configuration comes with a laptop with Windows 7, VLM (VisualLaserMarker) software and will be available in October 2012.
