Spectronics Corporation has introduced the ONT-365 On-Trak NDT Inspection System, an overhead track light-style system ideal for use in NDT inspection booths.

The system features four broad-beam lamp heads. Each has three ultra-high-flux UV-A (365nm) LEDs for NDT inspection and one white light LED for general illumination.

This system allows inspectors to move the lamp heads anywher along the tracks so beam patterns fit whatever needs of the user. Lamp heads can even be added for increased area coverage.

The ONT-365 light sources produce a nominal steady-state UV-A intensity of 9,000 µW/cm² at 15 inches (38 cm). An optional attenuating filter is available for reduced intensity applications.

Electronic Intensity Stabilizers ensure consistent UV LED performance during extended use, and built-in cooling fans moderate temperature. The system also uses an “instant on” feature that enables the lamps to reach full intensity immediately. The LEDs have a rated life of 30,000 hours.
